Why tint your windows

Tint is more than looks. The film works every day, even when the car is parked.

UV protection

Blocks up to 99% of UV rays: no faded interior, and your skin is protected.

A cooler cabin

Ceramic film rejects infrared heat, so the car heats up far less in summer.

Lower running costs

The air-con works less, which means lower fuel or battery use.

Safety

In an impact the film holds broken glass together, protecting driver and passengers.

Comfort & privacy

Rear glass hides the cabin from prying eyes and keeps the sun off the kids.

Theft deterrent

Valuables are hidden from the street — less reason to smash a window.

FAQ

Is it legal?

Yes. Front side windows get film that lets through at least 70% of light, the windscreen at least 75% — exactly what UK law requires. There are no limits on rear windows.

How long does it take?

Window tint 2–4 hours, windscreen 2–3 hours, lights 1–2 hours. PPF takes one to three days depending on coverage.

When can I wind the windows down?

After 3–5 days, once the adhesive has cured. Slight haze in the first days is normal and clears on its own.

Carbon or ceramic?

Neither fades or affects your signal. Ceramic rejects more heat, so the cabin is noticeably cooler in summer. Carbon costs less and is great for privacy.

Can you remove old tint?

Yes. We remove old film and adhesive carefully, without damaging the glass or demister lines.

How do I look after PPF?

Normal washing, no abrasive products for the first 7 days. Light scratches in the film heal with heat — sunshine or warm water.
